> Balsam Mountain Preserve, NC and its members are taking part in the Great Backyard Bird Count, beginning at 9 a.m. this Fri., Feb. 15. Members can stop by The Trust Nature Center any time on Friday to help man a bird watching station.

Recognized by the Southeast Tourism Society as one of the Top 20 Events in the Southeast, this month-long celebration preserves and displays the culture of the Gullah people, descendants of slaves who live in the Lowcountry region of South Carolina and Georgia. > Reynolds Plantation, Greensboro, GA is congratulating member John Rosensteel, who beat 67 million-to-1 odds by making two holes-in-one during the same January round at The Creek Club.

> Currahee Club, Toccoa GA reports progress on several construction projects underway at its Amenity Campus. Contractors continued working on the HVAC for the Sports Club and the plumbing and electricity for all three buildings.
The HVAC for the Sports Club is now roughed in while plumbing and electricity for all three buildings is almost complete. The buildings are nearly dried in, allowing contractors to install the windows and doors. They are also working on the siding for the Pool House and Barn.
