Boca Woods Country Club, Boca Raton FL is part of the pickleball trend sweeping through Palm Beach County. Geoff Moore, the USPTA director of tennis at Boca Woods, recently hosted two pickleball exhibitions at the club. The participating professionals, Chris Gunning, Kendall Lyon, Dick Stockton, and Craig Wittus, are all former ATP world ranked players.
Played with a hard paddle and a polymer wiffle ball, pickleball combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Tennis
Members also enjoy eight championship Har Tru clay tennis courts, year-round league play, socials and round-robin mixers all organized by the USPTA Director of Tennis.
