The Boathouse in Edgartown Amid shower, likely thunderstorms and winds of 20 mph and up, GolfCourseHome Publisher David Lott is sailing this morning from Falmouth to Hyannis for tomorrow’s Figawai Race to Nantucket.
Nearly 200 boats are expected for the annual competition which may be hampered by rain, fog and winds gusting to 30 mph. A private wine room can accommodate up to 16 people and has its own deck for dining or enjoying drinks and appetizers before dinner.
The club’s collection of luxury motor yachts is tied up nearby at the club’s docks for members to experience all of the benefits of boat ownership without any of the hassle. The boats leave from the club docks and include a crew of knowledgeable USCS licensed captains.
The Field Club
At The Boathouse’s Field Club location, top recreational amenities include eight tennis courts, lawn game area, outside heated pools, deluxe spa, fitness center and a casual restaurant with patio dining overlooking the main pool.
Families enjoy a wide array of activities for all ages including daily kids’ club, junior tennis programs, swimming lessons, kids’ and teen nights, and daily programs and special events throughout the summer season.
