COMMUNITY NEWS AND UPDATES

> Daniel Island, Charleston, SC is reporting that home sales in the community were up 20% in 2011 over the previous year and that the inventory of available properties has returned to healthy levels for the market.

In January of 2012, buyers responded by closing on five homes and going to contract on 12 others—unusual business for this time of year.

Even condominium sales, flat in most markets around the country, remain active on Daniel Island: 26 new units sold in 2011, up 30% over 2010. Send me more information about Daniel Island!

> Harbour Ridge Yacht & Country Club, Palm City FL reports that the community’s social season is in full swing with many fine activities and clubs from which members can choose. The ever-popular Valentine’s Day golf tournament & dinner dance is Tue., Feb. 14 featuring the well-known band “Street Talk.”
