Woodside Hosts Toys for Tots Event
Woodside, SC: A snapshot of last year’s event.
> Woodside, Aiken SC will host a special Toys for Tots Tree Lighting Celebration this Saturday, Dec. 9 from 5 to 8 p.m. in The Village at Woodside. For guests who bring along a new, unwrapped toy, there will be free photos with Santa to use for this year’s holiday cards.
For the kids, the event offers a special holiday puppet show at 5 pm, followed by live caroling, holiday giveaways, and more. First 100 attendees to arrive get free hot chocolate. Send me more information about Woodside!
Sun City Oro Valley Yuletide Event
Sun City Oro Valley, AZ: Showcasing handmade toys.
> Sun City Oro Valley, Oro Valley AZ hosted its annual Yuletide event, the Handmade Toy Extravaganza, Thursday, Dec. 7. A community activities group, Seniors for Kids, invited everyone in the community to come to the WC3 from 9 to 9:30 a.m. to view the wonderful handmade toys that will be distributed to children in the area this Christmas.
