Balsam Mountain Preserve, Sylva NC will celebrate the community’s Opening Weekend on May 3-5. It gets started Friday evening with a Cocktail Hour followed by an Italian Buffet at the Boarding House. Saturday’s events kick off with a Poolside Cookout at noon, followed by a Couples Golf Scramble beginning at 2 p.m., with an entry fee of $20 per player including cart and prizes.
Non-golfers have a chance that afternoon to “Meet the Horses” used for trail rides through the property.
