Indian River Colony Club Continues Fundraising
Indian River CC, FL: Fundraising crew continues efforts.
> Indian River Colony Club, Melbourne-Viera FL and its community service club, the IRCC Warriors, recently presented a $1,000 check to firefighters from Rockledge Fire Department, Station 3138, earmarking the funds for breast cancer research.
The fundraising team from Indian River Colony Club sold fire department tee shirts, held a bake sale, luncheon, raffles, golf tournament and fielded a walking team for American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer on October 26.
The check brought the IRCC Warriors’ grand total for cancer research to $5,268. Send me more information about Indian River Colony Club!
Reynolds Lake Oconee Course Reopens
Reynolds Lake Oconee, GA: Great Waters course reopens.
> Reynolds Lake Oconee, Greensboro, GA reports that, following an 18-month total renovation, Great Waters at Reynolds Lake Oconee has re–opened.
The completely rebuilt, modernized, and reconditioned version of the 1992 original is a visually breathtaking 18 holes of championship golf along the Lake Oconee shoreline.
Extensive tree clearing took place to reduce shade and improve overall turf quality. This work also allowed for wider fairways and rough. Greens complexes are all new and have been converted to TifEagle Bermuda, a superior species of grass. Send me more information about Reynolds Lake Oconee!
