PGA Village Verano, FL: Trip to Jupiter lighthouse.

The site of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse was selected in 1853 by a Surveyors company of the Army Corps of Engineers. In that company was Robert E. Lee, who years later would be defeated in the Battle of Gettysburg by Gen. George Meade. It was Army Lt.
