> Daniel Island, Charleston SC is reporting a major increase in real estate activity for the first two months of 2013 in comparison to the same period of 2012. Sales volume of $10.3 million in January-February of this year dwarfs last year’s level of $3.9 million. Transactions total 17, compared to 11 in Jan-Feb 2012.
Available properties were at 82, down from 2012’s total of 109. Average days on the market is down from 250 to just 94 and average sales price rose to $570,000, up from $360,000.
