Holiday Craft Fair at Ford’s Colony, VA
Ford’s Colony, VA: Hosts holiday craft fair this weekend.
> Ford’s Colony, Williamsburg VA continues its autumn activities calendar with a Holiday Craft Fair happening Sat., Oct. 19 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the S&T Club multi-purpose room.
Organized by the community’s Craft Club, the event will be a showcase for premier examples of a variety of handmade items.
A few of the vendors will be doing live demonstrations of the techniques involved in their craftwork.
Proceeds go to club-supported charities, which have included the Sentara/Williamsburg Hospital and area nursing homes. Send me more information about Ford’s Colony!
Greg Warren Band at The Villages, FL
The Villages, FL: Hosts Greg Warren band.
> The Villages, Lady Lake FL and its Brownwood Paddock Square entertainment venue will present a musical evening with the Greg Warren Band on Sun., Oct. 27 from 5 to 9 p.m.
The well-traveled band, formed in 2011, plays modern country and has opened for such premier acts as Alan Jackson, Hank Williams Jr, Scotty McCreery, Chris Cagle and Thompson Square.
