Indian River CC, FL Continues to Help Vets
Indian River CC,Ā FL provides consistent help to vets.
> Indian River Colony Club, Melbourne-Viera FL recently announced that the Indian River Colony Club (IRCC) Foundation, the communityās 501(c)(3) charitable arm, had provided a grant of $4,000 to the Veterans Memorial Center to supportĀ Veteran Stand Down to Stand Up, an annual event scheduled this year for Sat., Oct. 8.
Dedicated to helping homeless veterans,Ā Veteran Stand Down to Stand UpĀ also provides assistance to vets in traditional housing or those facing major financial hardships. Some 250-300 homeless veterans will receive medical and legal assistance, survival supplies, clothing, help with employment, VA services and much more, via this yearās effort. Halloween at Treasure Lake, PA
Treasure Lake, PA: Halloween at lakefront community,
> Treasure Lake, DuBois PA once again honors an October tradition at the community by staging its annual Ghostwalk at Lakeview Lodge. The main event of this two-day Halloween happening, scheduled for Oct. 28-29, is the āHaunted Tour of No Return,ā which charges a $10 admission and runs from 7 to 10 p.m.
