Palmetto Bluff, SC, Welcomes Artist, Haymaker
Palmetto Bluff, SC: Welcomes haymaker as part of art program.
> Palmetto Bluff, Bluffton SC continues its long-running Artist in Residence program with a series of mid-August events featuring the month’s resident artist, custom haymaker Mary Landrum Pyron.
On Thur., Aug. 11 from 2 to 5 p.m in the community’s FLOW Gallery, Ms. Landrum will conduct a Custom Hat Workshop, demonstrating the craft of felt hat finishing.
Students will learn how to sand, shape, and finish a custom hat of their own. Guests are encouraged to bring special accouterments, especially anything of significant meaning. Send me more information about Palmetto Bluff!

Reynolds Lake Oconee, GA: Welcomes new VP of Sales.
> Reynolds Lake Oconee, Greensboro, GA has announced the appointment of Karen Saltzbart as Vice President of Sales for Reynolds Lake Oconee Properties. She will succeed Lee Arberg, who is retiring after 25 years in the sales leadership position.
Saltzbart’s real estate career began in 2002 in New Jersey, where she rose to become vice president of sales for Sothebys International Heritage House, managing 200-plus agents and increasing the office’s revenue by over 300 percent during a 12-year tenure.
