High School Invitational at Moss Creek, SC
Moss Creek, SC: High School Girl Invitational this month.
> Moss Creek, Hilton Head Island SC is teaming up with the Vicki Hillen Junior Golf Foundation and the Women’s South Carolina Golf Association to host the 2024 High School Girls Invitational & Mentoring Weekend, happening Sat. – Sun., Sept 28-29.
Personally hosted by 13-time LPGA champion Rosie Jones, the event has a field of 72 players representing 15 high schools. They will compete at stroke play over 36 holes on Moss Creek’s Fazio-designed Devil’s Elbow South Course. Send me more information about Moss Creek!

Palmetto Bluff, SC: Events at conservancy this month.
> Palmetto Bluff, Bluffton SC and its on-site non-profit Palmetto Bluff Conservancy continues its year-round series of educational events for community residents on Wed., Sept. 25 with an exploration of the site’s archaeological features. This is a Brown Bag Lunch format event beginning at 12 noon.
Leading the presentation will be the Conservancy’s Assistant Archaeologist, Katie Epps, who will present highlights of her research and take questions from attendees. Send me more information about Palmetto Bluff!
