Kingsmill on the James, Williamsburg VA and the LPGA Tour announced that women’s pro golf would return this year to the famed River Course at Kingsmill. The $1.3 million LPGA Kingsmill Championship is scheduled for Sept. 6-9. It’s another sign of LPGA resurgence, as the tour has added five new events for 2012.

New Kingsmill owner Xanterra is undertaking a $6 million renovation of the resort, including a new resort pool complex and renovations to the marina restaurant. Send me more information about Kingsmill!
