Colleton River, SC Presents Grant
Colleton River Club, SC: Presents grant to Boys & Girls Club.
> Colleton River Club, Bluffton SC, through its non–profit Colleton River Charitable Fund, recently bestowed a $15,000 grant on the Boys & Girls Club of Bluffton, S.C. The club provides a safe haven for over 350 Bluffton-area students after school and over the summer. These children participate in a variety of programs focused on helping them reach their full potential and achieve success.
These include literacy programs for children reading below grade level, help with homework to ensure kids keep up, art and music programs to foster creativity, organized sports teams, even career exploration classes for teens. The grant from provides fee relief for families that otherwise couldnāt afford this vital support. Send me more information about Colleton River!
Nature Education at Desert Mountain, AZ
Desert Mountain, AZ: Nature education programs in full swing.
> Desert Mountain, Scottsdale AZ is conducting its first full season of member education programs in conjunction with its recent designation as a Gold Standard Site by Leave No Trace, a non–profit organization committed to protecting the planet by providing science, research and simple guidelines for sustainable exploration and enjoyment of the natural world.
Achieving the Gold Standard Site designation is a welcome affirmation of many years of effort on the part of the communityās trail founders and trail builders, all toward preserving the pleasurable experience of hiking on pristine Desert Mountain trails.
