River Landing, Wallace NC residents got to experience some Hollywood glamour and even get in front of the camera as extras in the production of a new movie starring Academy Award winner Colin Firth and Anne Heche.

Filming of “Arthur Newman, Golf Pro,” directed by Dante Ariola took place on the scenic fairways of the River Landing last fall, with 100-plus members used as cast extras.
