> The Cliffs at Glassy, Landrum SC holds a benefit event for the local fire department on Sat., April 28 called “Dinner, Where?”
It works like this: 20 couples prepare dinner for 8 to 10 in their homes, spending $200 minimum on ingredients. Then, each resident who wishes to attend pays $100 per plate to dine.

> Colleton River Plantation, Bluffton SC is pleased to host a piano recital and dinner featuring Zhu Wang this evening, April 27. Although Zhu was the youngest of the 20 competitors, he won First Prize at the 2011 Hilton Head International Young Artist Piano Competition last March.
