> Cummings Cove Golf & Country Club, Hendersonville NC has a new fleet of high-tech golf carts equipped with the “Visage” system, featuring a combination of cellular, wireless and global positioning technology.

A small electronic device in each cart drives intuitive touch-screen functions. The system shows each player’s positioning in real time and will show a 3D fly-over of each hole, tee shot and distance-to-pin measurement plus hole descriptions that eliminate blind spots.

> Hampton Lake, Bluffton SC enjoyed a flurry of real estate activity beginning July 6 when the community registered two sales in one day—a waterfront homesite and a waterfront home.

This was on the eve of an Open House that was well attended by interested buyers. Hampton Lake will continue to hold Saturday open houses for the rest of the summer thru Sept. 1  from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
