Celebration at Dataw Island
Dataw Island, SC: Festival included boat parade.
> Dataw Island, SC celebrated another fun and highly successful Winter Festival Weekend on Dec. 11, 12 and 13. Activity clubs were busy putting up holiday decorations at various parts of the island, including a Christmas lights display in Dataw’s famed Butterfly Garden, courtesy of the Garden Club.
Festivities over the three days included a nighttime boat parade with strings of lights along masts and rigging, a cocktail party at the Carolina Ballroom, a parade of decorated golf carts and a Luminary Night to conclude the festivities. Send me more information about Dataw Island!

While her journey began with film photography and letterpress stationery, Elisabeth’s business has continued to grow, this year with a new line of hand-poured candles crafted from locally sourced materials.
