Eagles on Camera at Dataw Island, SC
Dataw Island, SC: Viewing live stream eagles.
> Dataw Island, SC recently held a gathering of Dataw Island Conservancy members to mark the launch of the Pritchard Cam, a 24/7 live stream of eagles in their nest within the community.
A dedicated website will soon be set up to display the stream, meanwhile there is a web link to facilitate viewing of the mated pair of raptors preparing to welcome and nurture their chicks.
A Dataw family volunteered a section of their property for the camera installation and other residents donated funds to compensate contractors who did the work. Send me more information about Dataw Island!
Fitness Event at Riverton Pointe, SC
Riverton Pointe, SC: Hosts fitness event.
> Riverton Pointe, Hardeeville SC recently completed a community-wide event aimed at improving the participants’ cardiovascular fitness and endurance.
Winners of the Riverton Pointe Step Challenge for 2024 are the Red Hot Chili Steppers, whose members outstepped its rivals, the Agony of De Feet team, by a margin of 9,350,383 steps to 8,889,779, over the 30-day period of the competition.

Renovations at Callawassie Island, SC
Callawassie Island, SC: Completes course renovations.
> Callawassie Island, SC has completed a full renovation of the 27 Tom Fazio-designed golf holes that comprise the community’s three nine-hole loops. The fairways, tees and greens of all 27 holes were skimmed down to dirt for an infrastructure modernization and complete resurfacing with state-of-the-art grasses.
The third nine, Palmetto, was reopened in October, joining Dogwood and Magnolia as a fully refurbished layout. In the process, 18 fully functional holes were open at all times for member play. Send me more information about Callawassie Island!

Eagles on Camera at Dataw Island, SC
Dataw Island, SC: Viewing live stream eagles.
> Dataw Island, SC recently held a gathering of Dataw Island Conservancy members to mark the launch of the Pritchard Cam, a 24/7 live stream of eagles in their nest within the community.
A dedicated website will soon be set up to display the stream, meanwhile there is a web link to facilitate viewing of the mated pair of raptors preparing to welcome and nurture their chicks.
A Dataw family volunteered a section of their property for the camera installation and other residents donated funds to compensate contractors who did the work. Send me more information about Dataw Island!
Fitness Event at Riverton Pointe, SC
Riverton Pointe, SC: Hosts fitness event.
> Riverton Pointe, Hardeeville SC recently completed a community-wide event aimed at improving the participants’ cardiovascular fitness and endurance.
Winners of the Riverton Pointe Step Challenge for 2024 are the Red Hot Chili Steppers, whose members outstepped its rivals, the Agony of De Feet team, by a margin of 9,350,383 steps to 8,889,779, over the 30-day period of the competition.
The winning team walked a combined 4,675 miles to gain their victory. Sign-up for the 2025 edition is open to all residents and participation is highly encouraged. Send me more information about Riverton Pointe!
