> The Landings, Savannah GA announced that its director of golf instruction, Joe Plecker, had been named to the GOLF Magazine list of the Top 100 Teachers in the U.S for 2021-22.
This is Plecker’s third consecutive award from GOLF Magazine. In the bi-annual selection process for the Top 100, he completed a rigorous application and was reviewed by an array of committees and editors.

Woodside Raises Funds for Nonprofit
Woodside, SC: Raising charitable funds through garden tour.
> Woodside, Aiken SC recently held a ceremony with its Women of Woodside service group to present a check for $9746 to a local charitable group, the Stand at the Crossroads Ministries. These funds were raised through an organized garden tour of five beautiful and unique gardens within the Woodside community, attended by 330 guests.
Proceeds will be used to provide housing and skill development to Aiken women and their children who are in transition. Women of Woodside is a 501(c)4 organization now in its 33rd year of service. Send me more information about Woodside!

The Landings, GA: Welcomes new director.
> The Landings, Savannah GA announced the hiring of Gary Lorfano as director of membership, marketing and communications. Since December, he has served the club as a marketing strategist. Prior to that Lorfano was vice-president of marketing and sales for the Heritage Golf group.
