Indian River Colony Club Raises Funds
Indian River Colony Club, FL: Raises funds for vets.
> Indian River Colony Club, Melbourne-Viera FL announced the results of a holiday-season fundraiser that kicked off at the community’s December tree-lighting ceremony.
During the event, residents had an opportunity to purchase ornaments for the 14-foot tree in front of the At Ease Club, IRCC’s dining facility.
The activity raised $1,161 for Space Coast Chapter 123 of the Disabled American Veterans charity, culminating in a recent check presentation ceremony. The funds will be used to assist local veterans. Send me more information about Indian River Colony Club!
New Pickleball Center at Callawassie Island
Callawassie Island, SC, adds pickleball to its rackets menu.
> Callawassie Island, SC debuted a new sports amenity for its members, a pickleball center added to the club’s racquet complex, with its six Har-Tru tennis courts.
Four brand-new pickleball courts are now in use and proving extremely popular.
The racquet complex is staffed with certified pickleball pros who have been offering clinics weekly to introduce newcomers to this fast-growing sport. Send me more information about Callawassie Island!
