Qualifiers in the 36-hole stroke play tournament will earn a spot at the Women’s Open Championship to be played July 5-8 at Black Wolf Run in Kohler, Wis.
Plantation Bay Golf Professional Ulrika Smith has entered the tournament and hopes to qualify for the US Open for 2012.
Tuohy said tee times and pairings listings for the tournament will be available in the Planatation Bay golf shops prior to play.
Spectators are encouraged to come watch the tournament, Tuohy said, but spectator golf carts will not be permitted.
