Sea Pines Resort, SC: Holiday wagon comes this weekend.
> Sea Pines Resort, Hilton Head Island SC and the The Sea Pines Recreation Department welcome one and all to a holiday wagon caravan at the Sea Pines Forest Preserve on Sat., Dec. 17, from 1 to 3 p.m. It’s a chance to hop aboard festive wagons and arrive at a North Pole exhibit and fun space.
Once arrived, children have an opportunity to hear the classic story “The Polar Express” and create a paper conductor’s hat while enjoying cookies and hot chocolate. Reservations are required. Cost is $18 per adult, $16 per child age 12 and younger. Send me more information about Sea Pines!
Polar Plunge at Moss Creek, SC
Moss Creek, SC: Hosts Polar Plunge at the pool.
> Moss Creek, Hilton Head Island SC and the Moss Creek Owners Association will hold its annual Polar Plunge event at the community’s Bostwick Pool on Sun., Jan. 1, with a 12:30 arrival time and group plunge at 1 p.m. It’s a lively and invigorating way to get the New Year stared.
Festivities will include a hot cocoa bar, a photo booth with party props, upbeat music and a member charge bar. A loaded chili bar with homemade cornbread is available to participants and spectators alike. Send me more information about Moss Creek!
