Quail Ridge Golf Course Renovation
The South Course Renovation at Quail Ridge Country Club in Boynton Beach, FL is well underway.
The Bobby Weed Design team is managing the process of replacing irrigation and modernizing the design of the course.
There are two objectives in renovating the South Course. The first is to upgrade the critical infrastructure.
Relevant infrastructure items include drainage, irrigation, grasses, greens construction, bunker construction, cart paths and bulkheads. The overall condition and sustainability of any course is often a direct reflection of the quality of its infrastructure. Send me more information about Quail Ridge!
The second objective is to enhance the member experience by addressing the playability of the course. The improvements to the South Course are significant, not only in scope, but also in their potential.
The new design will produce a more strategic, maintenance-friendly and enjoyable golf course. Such a layout will remain relevant and competitive in the marketplace for years to come.
It will also protect each member’s long term investment in the community, providing enhanced enjoyment in the present, and attracting the next generation of property owners. Send me more information about Quail Ridge!

What will the new course look like?
While specific design examples for each hole can be seen in the diagrams, a number of overall concepts were generated that guided Bobby Weed’s design approach.
One of the cornerstones that steered his thinking was the equally intense level of play that the courses receive, from all demographics of the membership. Accordingly, they have approached the South Course in the same manner and addressed it using the same standard. Send me more information about Quail Ridge!
