The Reserve at Lake Keowee’s Great Lawn is now a gridiron homage to the Tigers football team. The Reserve’s grounds crew laid out a half-sized football field featuring a Tiger paw painted with guidance from the same stencil employed at Clemson’s Memorial Stadium.
The Reserve is Swinney’s home club and the site of his annual media day golf outing. The Jack Nicklaus Signature course will also play co-host to the Clemson Invitational on Lake Keowee next spring. Send me more information about The Reserve at Lake Keowee!
“We have such a strong relationship with the university and we wanted to find a unique way to show our support while the football team is on a truly historic run,” said Rutledge Livingston, The Reserve at Lake Keowee Director of Sales who was a member of Tigers teams in the mid-1970s.
Members at The Reserve are planning an on-property tailgate for the Tigers’ College Football Playoff semifinal matchup with Oklahoma, along with a post-Christmas game of two-hand touch.
The Reserve is conveniently located just 16 miles from Clemson. More than 50 homes are currently under construction at the property, and The Reserve recently introduced its final waterfront neighborhood to market.
“There’s a lot of excitement here about the Tigers, and we’re seeing people look for a residence that will put them close to the action on game day and also provide a luxury lake lifestyle any time of year,” Livingston said. Send me more information about The Reserve at Lake Keowee!

Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf
The golf course at The Reserve at Lake Keowee was designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in 2002. Nicklaus utilized the topography of the land and allowed the course to follow the natural contours of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains. A par-72, 18-hole course that stretches 7,112 yards, it provides challenging play for all skill levels.
“The course creates a natural gathering spot in the heart of The Village,” says Nicklaus, “and offers dramatic lake and mountain views that players will remember long after the last putt.” Send me more information about The Reserve at Lake Keowee!
