Palmetto Bluff, SC: Special event this month.
> Palmetto Bluff, Bluffton SC continues its Artist in Residence program with Welcome Reception on Wed., April 24 from 4 to 6 p.m. with current resident artist Kurtis Schumm.
Originally a touring musician with acts such as Emmylou Harris and Gov’t Mule, the versatile Schumm went on to a culinary career then transitioned once again to landscape and seascape painting, working in acrylic, ink and paints. Hosting the event is the community’s Arts Initiative, which celebrates the arts and artisanry, fosters creativity, and offers hands-on education for residents and guests of Palmetto Bluff. New Amenities at Reynolds Lake Oconee, GA
Reynolds Lake Oconee, GA: New amenities in the works.
> Reynolds Lake Oconee, Greensboro, GA continues its successful development of the resort community’s Richland Pointe section, announcing planned new property releases and important additional amenities. A new Tom Fazio-designed championship golf course is in the works, to be known as the Richland Course.
In addition to the golf course, a new full-service marina—the community’s fifth—is debuting this summer, allowing members easy access to get on the lake, as well as visit the Village by boat for a meal or to spend a day at the spa and the pools. Since its inception, homesites, custom homes, and cottages in the Richland Pointe neighborhood and Richland Pointe Village have been in high demand.
