Spring Steeplechase at Woodside, SC
Woodside, SC: Hosts Spring Steeplechase March 22.
> Woodside, Aiken SC and its residents are getting set for the Aiken Spring Steeplechase, a.k.a. the Imperial Cup, scheduled for Sat., March 22 at the new Aiken Horse Park on Richland Avenue East. This prestigious equestrian event dates back over 50 years and its profits benefit a large group of deserving charities.
Gates open to the public at 8 a.m. and the last race is run at approximately at 3:30 p.m. Attractions include the races plus live music and a vibrant village of shops and vendors. Send me more information about Woodside!
RBC Heritage at Sea Pines Resort, SC
Sea Pines Resort, SC: Hosts RBC Heritage April 14-20.
> Sea Pines Resort, Hilton Head Island SC will once again host the PGA Tour’s prestigious RBC Heritage, April 14-20. This famed tournament is South Carolina’s only PGA TOUR event, contested on the community’s famed Harbour Town Golf Links.
The 2025 edition marks the 57nd annual playing of “The Heritage,” as it’s best known. Happening each year on the week following the Masters, it endures as one of world golf’s most notable tournaments, with Scottie Scheffler returning as the defending champ and world-class field competing for a total purse this year of $20 million.
