The Landings Golf Teacher Earns Award
The Landings, GA: Golf teaching pro wins award.
> The Landings, Savannah GA congratulates its golf club’s head teaching professional, Carol Preisinger, on her receipt of the Ellen Griffin Rolex Award for 2022. The Ellen Griffin Rolex Award, instituted by the LPGA in 1989 to honor the late teaching professional Ellen Griffin.
The award recognizes an individual, male or female, who made a major contribution to the teaching of golf and emulates Griffin’s spirit, love and dedication to students, teachers, teaching skills and the game of golf. Preisinger graduated with a psychology degree in 1984 from the University of Georgia, where she also played on the golf team. Send me more information about The Landings!

Treasure Lake Hosts Summer Events
Treasure Lake, PA: Hosting summer events.
> Treasure Lake, DuBois PA has a busy calendar for the community’s upcoming kickoff to summer. Memorial Day Weekend events include a Chainsaw Carving Contest on Saturday and Sunday, May 28-29, with displays, demos, a juried competition and a live auction of the collectible wood carvings the artists produce.
Sunday night it’s the Kickoff Summer Concert at Treasure Lake’s popular Poolside Bar & Grill with a live performance by Unforgiven from 7 to 10 p.m. Send me more information about Treasure Lake!
