Spring Art Event at The Villages, FL
The Villages, FL: Hosts Spring Fine Art Society Exhibition.
> The Villages, Lady Lake FL and its community-based Fine Art Society will present the annual Spring Fine Art Society Exhibition on Sat., April 27 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Colony Cottage Recreation Center. This much-anticipated event is free and open to the public. It will feature 2-dimensional paintings by accomplished member artists, professionally curated in an art gallery setting.
Over 80 original works in acrylic, oil and watercolors will be displayed and available for sale. There will be cash bar and music by Jim Cole, plus artist demonstrations and raffles for gift baskets. Send me more information about The Villages!
RBC Heritage at Sea Pines Resort, SC
Sea Pines Resort, SC: Hosting RBC Heritage.
> Sea Pines, Hilton Head Island, SC. Sea Pines residents are gearing up for the annual RBC Heritage which is being contested April 18-21 on the resort community’s acclaimed Pete Dye Harbour Town Golf Links. The pros are playing for a $20 million purse at the PGA Tour signature event.
Many of the PGA Tour’s notable names will be there including newly minted, two-time Masters champ
Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy and 24-year-old Ludvig Åberg who thrilled audiences with his run at the green
jacket.
The Golf Channel will broadcast the event Thursday through Sunday from 3 pm to 6 pm. CBS will join

Women’s Championship at Callawassie Island, SC
Callawassie Island, SC: Hosts the Big East Championship.
> Callawassie Island, SC is set to host The BIG EAST Women’s Golf Championship on April 20-22. The new champion will receive an NCAA Championship invitation.

Sunset Cyclists at Sea Trail Plantation. SC
Sea Trail Plantation, NC: Welcomes new cycling enthusiasts.
> Sea Trail Plantation, Sunset Beach NC is informing all residents that a community activity group, the Sunset Cyclists, is now open for new-member applications. The group meets on three Saturday mornings a month for a local ride of 12 to 15 miles with frequent rest stops, followed by lunch at a local restaurant. One weekend each month, the group transports its bikes by car to a new and interesting destination in North or South Carolina.
They also do a weekend overnight ride twice yearly on the Rail Trails with a distance of 15 to 25 miles, supporting charities by raising money through bicycling events. Send me more information about Sea Trail Plantation!
