> Desert Mountain, Scottsdale AZ was featured prominently in a recent Wall Street Journal article on the much-discussed trend toward construction of less-than-regulation-sized golf courses. Under the title, “Prestigious Golf Courses Have a New Mantra: Short but Sweet,” the article spotlighted course No. 7 at Desert Mountain, calling it “a challenging course for even the most proficient golfer, although packaged in a par-3 format.”
