Dataw Island Welcomes New Harbormaster
Dataw Island, SC: New pro on the team.
> Dataw Island, SC is pleased to welcome its new Harbormaster, Chad Langford, who joins the Dataw staff earlier this month. Langford most previously had served as general manager of the Hilton Head Boathouse.
While employed there, he underwent in-depth mechanical training to earn a five-star certificate in Yamaha boat engine maintenance.
Langford is a Lowcountry native who began his service career on the golf side, working for several years as an assistant golf professional on Bray’s Island. Send me more information about Dataw Island!
New Equestrian Facilities at Balsam Mountain
Balsam Mountain Preserve, NC: New options for riders.
> Balsam Mountain Preserve, Sylva NC is pleased to announce new improvements to its Equestrian Center, which had already been earned it “Best Equestrian Community” honors for the Southeast region by Real Estate Scorecard.
Upgrades include four all-weather paddocks, a larger all-purpose training arena and a year-round boarding program for members.
The new equine facilities are designed to welcome novice riders to the sport via expert lessons in the riding arena.
