Pauma Valley Country Club, CA Charity Tournament June 21

Pauma Valley Country Club, San Diego CA  has its semi-annual Farmer Stag Charity Fundraiser, the “Extravaganza” golf tournament, scheduled for Fri., June 21, with a 12:30 pm shotgun start. It features a barbeque and cocktails at the private home of a member.

Entry fee is just $125 for two-man teams, with a blind draw conducted by the golf professional. Cash prizes will be provided. Send me more information about Pauma Valley Country Club!

The course has been listed among the Top 100 Best Courses in the U.S. and as a Top 10 club in California by Golf Digest.

Pauma Valley Country Club has also hosted the U.S. Open qualifier many times and has hosted many other high-profile golf events. Most recently the course hosted the 2011 U.S. Mid-Amateur Qualifying event and the 2006 and 2007 U.S. Amateur Qualifying tournament.

Amenities

Pauma Valley members enjoy a wide array of amenities. In addition to the golf course, the pool complex, tennis courts, practice facility, newly renovated fitness room are always active.

The club is also noted for its fly-in airstrip, completely outfitted woodworking shop, Grill Room, outdoor terrace and cottages.

Billy Graham, who was a member for eight years and often returned for vacations, was once asked what he thought heaven looked like to which he responded, “I hope it looks a lot like Pauma Valley, California.”

Pauma Valley Country Club, CA Hosts Health Lecture Series

Pauma Valley Country Club, San Diego CA continues its Healthy Woman & Man series on Wed., May 15 with an informative presentation titled “Myths of Men’s and Women’s Health” featuring Drs. Caroline and Joel Diamant, specialists in gastroenterology and internal medicine, respectively, at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla.
