The famed long walk toward the lighthouse.
PGA Tour players don’t have their families along for most tournaments, but the RBC Heritage is an exception to that rule. Players’ families come to Sea Pines in large numbers to relax on sandy beaches, explore miles of bike paths and generally enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.
Sold Out, but Watch RBC Heritage at Home
Tickets sold out for the 2021 playing of the event at a particularly fast clip, owing to Covid restrictions that limited ticket availability. but you can still watch the action at home on CBS and Golf Channel.
Viewers will get a great chance to appreciate one of America’s most brilliantly designed golf courses. They’ll also see Harbour Town’s recent major upgrades, including a $25 million clubhouse and a complete re-grassing of the golf property with new hybrid strains of warm-season Bermuda.
And keep an eye out for a new hazard along the 16th hole. These eye-catching “church pew” bunkers pay homage to the original church pews at famed Oakmont Country Club in western Pennsylvania. Send me more information about Sea Pines!
