Sun City Oro Valley Tournament Raises $900 for Sewing Club

Sun City Oro Valley, Oro Valley AZ reports that its annual 135 Sun City Oro Valley Tennis Tournament was successful in raising money for Sun City’s Casa Amigas Sewing Club.

Totaling the entry fees, member contributions and Tennis Club contributions, approximately $900 will be donated to Casa Amigas.

Casa Amigas is a group of dedicated sewers who make clothing, quilts and other items for the Amphi School District clothing bank and the Catalina Community Resource Center.

Sun City Oro Valley, Oro Valley AZ and its staff of PGA-certified golf professionals has a new Learn to Play Golf at The Views golf school now underway.

If you are a Sun City Oro Valley homeowner or tenant who would like to learn to get started in golf, there is an every-Saturday golf Beginners School happening now, at a cost of just $120 for all six one-hour sessions.

Sun City Oro Valley, AZ Hosts Toy Collection This Season, Invites Residents to View Homemade Toys

Sun City Oro Valley, Oro Valley AZ is running a donation program called Toys for Children in Need.

Residents and friends are cordially invited to view the toys made by the Seniors for Kids membership. The annual distribution was on Thur. Dec. 6 in the Apache Room, Vistoso Center.

Each year the group collects all the toys that have been lovingly handmade during the year for distribution to area children in need.

Sun City Oro Valley, AZ Will Hold School Fundraiser in December

Sun City Oro Valley, Oro Valley AZ will hold its annual fundraiser for the Davidson Elementary School in early December. A group of SCOV residents will be assisting with the school’s Holiday Shop.

Children use “Davidson Dollars” that they have earned (for good grades, attendance etc.) to purchase gifts for their family and friends. Gifts are provided and wrapped by SCOV residents. Send me more information about Sun City Oro Valley!

Sun City Oro Valley, Oro Valley, AZ is set for its annual Holiday Bus Trip to Nordstroms in the Fashion Square Mall, in Scottsdale on December 7th. Both men and women are welcome to enjoy this fun day. The luxury coach will leave SCOV at 8 a.m. and leave Scottsdale at 3 p.m. to return.
