Home Sales at The Landings, GA Jump 21% in 2012

Home sales at The Landings, Savannah, GA, rose more than 21% in 2012 to 217 transactions–double the sales in 2009–according to The Landings Company in a report just issued.

The sales surge led the way for all homes sales in Chatham County where The Landings is located. County-wide, not including The Landings, single-family home sales increased by 9.4% in 2012 vs. 2011. Send me more information about The Landings.

The Landings on Skidaway Island, GA Hosts Kids Fishing Derby May 26: Fish for Bluegills, Win Prizes

The Landings on Skidaway Island, GA and its Coastal Conservation Association chapter will host the annual Kids Fishing Derby on May 26 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at the community’s Kids Fishing Lagoon.

Each year, children and grandchildren of Landings residents, their guests, and other special guests are invited to participate.

For the occasion, Lagoon No. 56 has been stocked with 2,500 Bluegills.

Prizes are awarded in a variety of categories, and contestants are grouped by age to give all children a fair chance of winning. Send me more information about The Landings!

The Landings on Skidaway Island, GA Marks Recycling Center’s 4th Year of Environmental Activism

The Landings on Skidaway Island, GA is recognizing the environmental contributions of The Landings Recycling Center, which this month marks four years of operation.

Since its opening on Jan. 11, 2008, the Recycling Center has saved 1,491 tons of paper, 316 tons of cardboard and 165 tons of plastic from being dumped in local landfills. Read more
