Sea Pines Hosts PGA Event
Sea Pines, SC: Hosting prestigious event this month.
> Sea Pines Resort, Hilton Head Island SC will once again host the PGA Tour’s prestigious RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing, April 10-16. This famed tournament is South Carolina’s only PGA TOUR event, contested on the community’s famed Harbour Town Golf Links.
The 2017 edition marks the 49th annual playing of “The Heritage,” as it’s best known. Happening each year on the week following the Masters, it endures as one of world golf‘s most notable tournaments, with a total purse this year of $6.5 million. Send me more information about Sea Pines!

Daniel Island Gets Ready for Civil Rights Tour
Daniel Island, SC: Participating in historical event.
> Daniel Island, Charleston SC residents will take part in a unique historical program this Fri., April 7, from 9:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. as the Lowcountry Explorers group, led by Daniel Island tour guide Lee Ann Bain, takes part in a Reconstruction & Civil Rights Walking Tour, learning about the struggle for civil liberties and rights from the mid-19th century up the 1960s.
Transportation will be via carpool, with meet-up on Island Park Drive near the Publix supermarket. Lunch will be at Leyla’s and is included in the cost of the trip. Send me more information about Daniel Island!
