World Golf Village, FL: Hosts championship May 16-19.

> World Golf Village, St. Augustine FL has announced a special PGA Championship Weekend for May 16-19 at its iconic World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum. In a significant shift to pro golf’s schedule of major championships, the PGA Championship has left its traditional August spot and moved to May.

During its four days of competition, you can and enjoy learning about Hall of Fame Members who are PGA Champions in the museum’s Major Moments exhibit. Appearing live will be the Grammy-nominated Gabriel Ayala Trio, fronted by a Native American guitar master who has performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. and other world-class venues. Format is cabaret seating and attendees are invited to bring their own snacks and drinks. Doors open at 6:30 and the show begins at 7 p.m.

The event is designed to appeal to those who play very little golf or lots of golf—even the non-golfer is invited and encouraged to attend. Enjoy nine holes of golf followed by a delicious buffet dinner with a cash bar from Citico’s. Cost is $40 for the public, $25 for social members and $15 for full golf members. Sun City Oro Valley, AZ: Celebrating Independence Day.
