Reynolds Plantation, GA: Included in Top 100 list.
> The latest GOLF Magazine listing of the Top 100 Courses You Can Play is out, with five championship courses from GolfCourseHome communities among those selected. Two of these honored designs are by Pete Dye: The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island (ranked No. 5) and Harbour Town Golf Links at Sea Pines Resort (No. 9). Two are by Jack Nicklaus: Great Waters at Reynolds Plantation (No 46) and May River Golf Club at Palmetto Bluff (No. 51).
A fifth GolfCourseHome course to make the ranking is the Oconee Course at Reynolds Plantation, which came in at No. 67. Green fees for these courses range from $143 up to $495.

WindRiver, TN: Chef Robert hosts cooking classes.
> WindRiver, Lenoir City TN features two stimulating gastronomical events coming up this month for residents and the public. On Wed., Sept. 10, it’s a cooking Class with Chef Robert at 6 p.m. and the dish to be created is Pasta from Scratch.
Space is very limited and the fee is $49. On Sept. 17 it’s a wine event, the “Paso Robles Rhone Rangers Tasting.” There are seatings at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. and the public is invited. Fee is $69 for wine pairings and a tasting menu. Send me more information about WindRiver!
